The New York market for contemporary art from a wide range of Middle Eastern countries has been rapidly expanding in recent years. The growing ranks of  successful Middle Eastern artists have been increasing. Galleries and fairs provide a rough estimate to measure the growth of the market.

The number of people who came to the last  Dubai art fair which is held each year reached a total of 20,000 people attending surpassing the 2010 total of 18,000 people and the 2009 total of 14,000 people. organizers said. The 2011 edition also saw 60 museum groups in attendance.

It is good to see the art industry get a little more multicultural. I am going to be guest blogging for my friend in about a week fore now and I will keep you updated on that. If you want to be even more updated about what I am doing follow me on twitter @AllTypeOfArt
